Four Invoices a Year for One Indiana Address
Honest registered agent representation in Indiana for $99/year. Includes the address used on filings, same-day scanning of legal mail, and reminders for state deadlines.
We should say plainly that IN Registered Agent.org publishes this and competes for the same business. The comparison still works, because it rests on arithmetic anybody can redo: Swyft Filings quotes a quarter and almost everyone else quotes a year.
Why Anybody Would Choose Four Payments
Splitting a cost into smaller, more frequent pieces is a real preference and not a symptom of anything. Swyft Filings states its cadence openly, the service performs the statutory role, and a business that would rather see four moderate debits than one larger one is managing its cash the way it prefers. Nobody should be talked out of that on a page selling the other arrangement.
The Unit Is the Whole Problem
The rate is $149, charged every three months. Multiplied out that is roughly $596 a year, and our July 2026 check found no separate first-year figure, so the total applies from the beginning.
Nothing here is concealed. The difficulty is that every other price in the Indiana market is quoted annually. Put $149 next to $125 and $99 in a list and it reads as a middling option in the same units as its neighbors, when it is in fact the largest twelve-month cost in the field. One multiplication stands between the sticker and the comparison, and pricing pages are not in the business of performing it for you.

Indiana's Calendar Does Not Run in Quarters
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereSet the billing rhythm against the compliance rhythm and the mismatch is hard to miss. Indiana asks a company for one recurring filing, the Business Entity Report, and it asks for it every second year, due by the last day of your anniversary month. Since the start of 2026 the state has accepted that filing up to 90 days early, a head start HB 1593 created. Beyond that window the Secretary of State has very little to say to you.
So the state contacts your company on a two-year beat while this particular invoice arrives on a three-month beat. There is no compliance reason for the second rhythm. Quarterly billing is a decision about how a bill feels, not a response to anything Indiana requires, and one consequence is that eight charges can clear before the state ever prompts you to think about who your agent is.
The $99 Side
One charge, once a year, and the renewal notice carries the same number as the first invoice. Anything served on us in Indiana is scanned and forwarded within the same business day. No tiers, no packages, and no add-ons waiting at checkout. Business mail scanning is available at $15 per item if you want it, which is the only other price we have.
Lowest in Indiana is not our claim to make. BetterLegal posts $90 annually, under our figure, so the floor belongs to somebody else. What we hold is a flat rate near the bottom of the Indiana range that does not move.
How to Switch From Swyft Filings in Indiana Without Paying to Leave
Add up the exit and the total is a signature, a few minutes, and no money. Indiana's instrument is State Form 56367, a one-page change document the Business Services Division accepts through INBiz or in the post, with NO FILING FEE printed on its fee line.
Sequence, because a quarterly cadence tempts people to work backwards from a billing date. Appoint the incoming agent first, since your entity has to name somebody on the day the statement is filed and Indiana holds you to keeping that seat occupied. File next. Watch for the change on your entity record, which is the moment the handoff is genuinely finished. Deal with the Swyft subscription last.
Whether you time that cancellation to land near a quarter boundary is a conversation between you and the vendor. The state is indifferent to it, imposes no window of its own, and charges nothing regardless of the week you pick. Our Indiana change of agent page has the form and both filing routes.
Questions about timing or billing belong on our contact page.
