We went looking for the trap underneath that offer and did not find one. No activation charge sits below it and nothing reclaims the value if you leave afterward. A young Indiana company offered a legally required service at no cost, in the quarter when cash is tightest, should accept it, and we would say so even where the advice costs us a sale.

$149 Begins the Day They End

Standing alone, and applying the moment your included window closes, Bizee agent service is $149 a year. Bizee publishes that plainly, which is more than several competitors manage, so the criticism is not about disclosure. It is about when the decision gets made. You choose your agent on day one, when the number in front of you is zero, and the figure that governs the following decade appears months later against a card already on file.

Two hundred dollars separates those totals, and the statutory work performed in each column is word for word identical.

What the Free Window Does Not Cover

Worth being precise about the boundary of the giveaway, because Indiana has a second recurring obligation and no agent bundle absorbs it. Your company owes the state a Business Entity Report, and Indiana asks for it every second year rather than annually: due by the last day of your anniversary month, in years matching the parity of your formation year, so an even-year company reports in even years and an odd-year company in odd ones. It costs $32 filed online and $50 on paper, per IC 23-0.5-2-13. Series LLCs are excused from it entirely.

That twenty-four month gap is exactly what makes a dependable agent worth having here. State notices about the report, and about any delinquency that follows it, arrive at the registered office, and two years is comfortably long enough to lose track of which month belongs to you.
